🧠 Cervical Spinal Canal Stenosis & Cervical Myelopathy

I had a great interview with MBC / Sabah Elkhir Ya Arab in June/ 2024 talking about Cervical Myelopathy – its symptoms and treatment. 🎥✨

💬 My advice to everyone: Always listen to your body!

It constantly sends us signals — don’t ignore them.

⚠️ Watch out for symptoms like:

▪️ Persistent neck pain that doesn’t improve with therapy

▪️ Tingling or numbness in arms/ hands

▪️ Stiffness , clumsiness , Weakness in hands/ legs

▪️ Loss of fine motor skills (like struggling to open a bottle or noticing changes in your handwriting)

▪️ Difficulty walking — unsteady, wide-based, or shuffling gait (“spastic gait”)Frequent

▪️ Frequent tripping or falls

▪️ Urinary urgency, frequency, retention or incontinence

▪️ Bowel dysfunction (less common, but serious)

These could be signs of Cervical Myelopathy, which needs early diagnosis and treatment.
